As most of you all know, I quit my full-time job to do photography full-time and to be a full-time SAHM! There are so many things about staying home that are wonderful. Yes, some days you feel like pulling your hair out but others it’s surreal knowing I’m not missing a thing!!! I love that. So I decided to give you all a glimpse of what my day is like and the touching things I get to experience daily. If you ever get the chance to stay home with your children-DO IT! The rewards are priceless!
So we start the day off by getting dressed. Now, I am a girl who loves her jammies! Anytime I can I’m in them. I am striving to change this. I need a 12 step program for my addiction because it’s rubbing off on my daughter! She wants to be in her jammies 24-7! This is not good and something I shouldn’t teach her! LOL So this is what I get when she has to get dressed.
Then this…LOL
But then once she’s dressed, she does things like this that really pull on my heartstrings. This truely was a “this is so worth it” moment for me!
Now it’s on to lunch. K is VERY small and doesn’t like to eat. I don’t know where she gets it. Her dad and I are major eaters and she just won’t do it. She wants to eat on her terms and no one else’s. We have tried EVERYTHING to get her to eat with us and eat what we eat. NOTHING works. If anyone has any tips that worked for them, leave me a comment. So here I got her to eat an apple. Though it is really good for her, I don’t think it’s going to put weight on her bones! ; )
Then it’s on to blowing bubbles outside. She loves to try and catch them with the bubble wand. Fun girlie time, although J is sitting eating on my lap the whole time we are outside. I love this photograph, there’s something in her eyes that I captured! It’s captivating for me.
If you all are wondering about J, well he’s around. Most of the time in my lap. He still can’t do much but we are teaching him that life around here isn’t so bad. In fact, it’s damn near paradise. : )
